This place is small but very clean and cute. They have affordable lunch specials around $10 which is insane in this economy. I tried the chicken cutlet wrap special and it came with fries and a drink. The people there were friendly and my food came out pretty fast.

Moved to SC but came back home for a visit and had to some eat at our favorite spot! Joan and Kevin are so welcoming and the amazing food is the best! It's a must when in Ridgefield!

Stepping into Joan's Bagel and Deli is like entering a cherished family gathering, where the scent of freshly baked bread mingles with the warmth of shared memories. With its welcoming atmosphere and heartfelt hospitality. The only problem with the place would be the time for in which it opens.

We took a morning walk today and stumbled upon Joan's Bagel and Deli Shop. We've passed here many times on our evening walks, and we can never catch it during the day because it was closed by the time we came back from work. Small and locally owned. There were a few people ahead of us and gave us a moment to see what to order. We decided on two orders of egg, cheese, and ham woth extra ketchup on a roll. My order was an egg and cheese with ketchup on a roll. All orders were fresh and felt small. However, it's a good pick me up for morning breakfast and reasonably priced. Friendly service, tables, and counter space to eat inside, minimum $10 to use credit card. If you live around the neighborhood, take a walk. There is street parking available too.

This place is a GEM. Everyone needs to go here. It's a cute deli with a parking lot in the back. My bro and I shared a lox bagel with tomatoes onions capers scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. It was a mistake... we should've ordered one each. The bagel was toasted and the freshness of all the ingredients worked perfectly together. The woman is so sweet and asked us how the bagel was afterwards. My brother doesn't even like lox but said this was the best bagel he's ever had.

My favorite bagel/deli place. So underrated. Everything tastes so fresh and home cooked and the people working are so nice. I've been saying here since I was a child. A local favorite. Truly something special and rare. Today I got the BLT but I havent tried an item on their menu that tasted bad.

So, I wanted to write my first review on a place I love and have no doubt about. This is THE best bagel shop in the world. Saying that, I don't think I've ever been more confident in a single sentence in my life. 3 Reasons Why: 1. Fresh made bagels every morning - super super soft yet crunchy in all the right spots 2. High quality food products that are put together perfectly for every order - everything is portioned so proportionately and to such a degree that all the ingredients seem to compliment each other, from the bagel to the egg & cheese all the way down to the salt, pepper & ketchup. They have mastered that art. Every bite tastes like the "last bite" if you know what I mean 3. Joan & Kevin are such exceptionally wonderful people. The type of people to remember both you and your order. Always smiles. Joan is quiet & kind and Kev is social & engaging. A balanced level of interaction that's positive and leaves you smiling without feeling intrusive or forced. There's seriously a magical chemistry that lives here and you can feel it amongst both the people AND the food. I have been going to this bagel shop since I was 10 years old. Being born & raised in Northern NJ, I know my bagels. I've been to countless bagel shops and consumed hundreds of bacon egg & cheeses. I swear to you, I've looked farrrr and wide ... none have been able to top my first true love. I love you guys !!!
